PRIVACY POLICY

Awakening Avalon, Inc. respects your privacy. Mailing addresses and email addresses shared with us are not shared with, or sold to, any other organization or person(s). They are for the exclusive use of Awakening Avalon, Inc.

In general, you are able to visit the Awakening Avalon, Inc. web site without revealing your identity or any other information about yourself. Our web servers may collect information that is aggregated to quantify the number of visits received, the average viewing time, and the pages viewed or services used. We may use this information to measure the use of our site and to improve the quality of the services and content we provide to our users.

Awakening Avalon, Inc. will explicitly request from you information that personally identifies you or allows us to contact you. This information is normally requested when providing you with access to our mailing list, or when you contact us with inquiries through telephone, fax or the various available online contact forms on this Web site. It is our policy to use this information solely for the purpose of providing you with the services or information that you have requested. However, we reserve the right to share this information within our company’s divisions to provide you with further information and internal analysis.

All information that you include in your medical and personal information forms is private and never shared outside of Awakening Avalon, Inc. to the full extent of the law. Information requested is to provide us with a base of knowledge to help guide you to the most appropriate program for your needs, and to keep you safe and healthy within all of our programs.  While there are certain exceptions to this policy, those exceptions are within the ordinary course and scope of the laws of the State of California and the laws of the United States.

 

FINANCIAL PAYMENT POLICIES

Product Refund Policies

Awakening Avalon, Inc. guarantees your satisfaction subject to the terms and conditions set forth herein. If, at any time, you are dissatisfied with the quality of a product (defined as audio, visual, published writing, initial month of membership, and anything located within the “Faire” section of  www.awakeningavalon.com) provided on our web site.

Any product may be returned, in new and unused condition, within 30 days, for a full refund or exchange.

Tuition Payment Policies

All quarterly charges are due by the date on the Billing Statement, unless an established Monthly Payment Plan contract has been finalized with the Accounting Department of Awakening Avalon, Inc. Previously unbilled and new charges are due and payable when incurred. A participant is responsible for payment of his or her tuition and fees upon registration. Financial registration is considered complete only when all charges are paid or when satisfactory arrangements to pay have been finalized with the Accounting Department.

Program Payment Plans

Awakening Avalon, Inc.’s The Priestess Path Program:

Annual: Participant pays $500 deposit within 2 weeks of acceptance, and submits remainder of tuition by one month prior to program start date.

Quarterly: Participant pays $500 deposit within 2 weeks of acceptance, and submits first quarter installment by one month prior to program start date.

Monthly: Participant pays $500 deposit within 2 weeks of acceptance, and submits first month installment by one month prior to program start date. Option for recurring payment available.

Consequences of Non-Payment

Program continuation is automatically cancelled if a participant is delinquent in paying his or her account and/or Monthly Payment Plan. Program continuation will not be permitted for past due accounts including Monthly Payment Plans. A late payment fee will be assessed on all delinquent accounts.

Finance Charges

No additional charges are imposed on an account once Account Balance payments are received by the payment due date. If, however, payment is received after the payment due date, a Finance Charge is assessed. Finance charges are computed on the average daily account balance at an Annual Percentage Rate of 10%.

Non-Payment

Awakening Avalon, Inc. may declare the sum of all past due balances, due immediately. In addition, the participant will be responsible for interest accrued on all past due and unpaid amounts at the maximum rate permitted by law and any and all costs incurred by Awakening Avalon, Inc. in enforcing its rights. Awakening Avalon, Inc. reserves the right to withhold initiations, re-admissions, and future registration for non-payment of outstanding balances. Awakening Avalon, Inc. may also disclose the participant’s outstanding indebtedness, along with other relevant information, to credit information bureaus. A non-refundable $100 reinstatement fee will be charged to reinstate each unpaid and cancelled quarter.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Participants who pay tuition before the due date of initial installment, will be issued a refund minus a processing fee of $300. Alternatively, tuition may be transferred to a future program for a processing fee of $200. Cancellations received within one month of the program start will be issued a refund minus the $500 deposit.

Tuition refunds for Awakening Avalon, Inc. Vision Quests will be issued if cancellation is received 1 week before the start of a quest, minus a processing fee of $100. Alternatively, tuition may be transferred to a future program for a processing fee of $50. Cancellations received within one week of the program start will receive a refund minus 15% of the cost of tuition. No refunds will be issued after the quest begins.

Refunds for Awakening Avalon, Inc. pilgrimages (all charges ) will be issued if cancellation is received 1 month before the pilgrimage departure date, minus a processing fee of $200. Alternatively, refunds may be transferred to a future program for a processing fee of $100. Cancellations received within one month of the pilgrimage departure date will receive a refund minus 15% of the cost of the pilgrimage.  Refunds issued after the pilgrimage begins may be considered on a case by case basis.

Program Cancellation

Awakening Avalon, Inc. reserves the right to cancel any program, vision quest, or pilgrimage at any time without warning. If a program, quest or pilgrimage is cancelled, Awakening Avalon, Inc. will refund all participants the amount of money they paid, in the oprdinary course of business.

Withdrawal Refund Policy

Participants who have advised Awakening Avalon, Inc. of their withdrawal from the Priestess Path program will receive refund or credit for tuition using a pro-rated calculation based on the percentage of the year, quarter or month attended (depending on payment plan) by the participant, minus a $300 processing fee. Deposits are not refundable and will not be pro-rated.

Procedure of Refund

The amount of refunded tuition will be calculated on a daily pro-rated basis.

Returned Check Policy

If a participant’s check is returned and unpaid by his/her bank for insufficient funds, stopped payment, or account closure, Awakening Avalon, Inc. will notify the participant and allow 5 days to make full payment by cash or credit card in addition to a $25.00 fee. For 1 year following, the participant may only use cash or credit card for Awakening Avalon, Inc. purchases. If the participant submits 2 checks returned and unpaid by the bank for payment to Awakening Avalon, Inc., he/she is no longer eligible to pay by check to Awakening Avalon, Inc.

If the participant stops payment on a check, he/she is no longer eligible to pay by check. If full payment is not received, the participant is removed from the program. The participant is liable for all tuition and fees on his/her account.

Invalid Credit Cards and Credit Card Charge-backs

Awakening Avalon, Inc. reserves the right to suspend a participant’s account based on any form of non-payment as more fully described above.
